This can opener works really well from the start but after several months of usage it turns to garbage. The first purchase of this item - it worked for about 6-8 months and then the rotary wheel fell off. I took it back and exchange it for another one as I had other Ecko products. The replacement has worked for about the same amount of time as the first but all it does now is spin as you turn the handle but does not grip and continue to cut. Horrible - I recommend you purchase something else or suffer the same experience as I did.
