Comment: My wife thinks it's the greatest thing since toothpaste. At first she was a little taken back by the way the removed tops were wavy instead of a clean cut that she had been used to in her prior experiences. I thought it was a great idea because I looked at it as a safety factor which allows you to handle the removed top more safely. So far she is overjoyed with the product and would buy it again; it also has a nice weight factor which makes it a lot more stable than her last can monster. Lastly, she said it is fabulous with tall cans..a real keeper.

Comment: A wonderful can opener. We had one for over 3 years. The main start switch broke and the replacement part was as much as the new opener. We bought the new opener just to use the part because we liked it so much.

Summary: The perfect countertop companion 2010-08-14
Comment: This handy, dandy little machine is a workhorse in our household. It is my 2nd West Bend 77204 electric can opener in as much as the first one was manhandled and gave up the ghost when it accidentally took a dive into dish water. After the new opener arrived and a few minor rules were set down on how to use the can opener to all those living in our house, the beautiful red replacement can opener took its own special "safe" spot in the kitchen for all to use. Recycling tin cans has never been easier! Would recommend this product as a wedding gift!

Comment: this can opener is the BEST!!! I have not seen this brand in any store, just like most of the things I get from Amazon, the best place to shop and save.
