This product works as intended. I keep it in my lunch box, as I take my lunch to work, to help me deal with any cans I may have to open. I have used this a total of 3 times, it does its job. My only complaint and it is a small one is that the blade does not stay closed tightly to the body, one would want to exercise a good deal of cautiousness if they intend on carrying in their pocket, or somewhere else they would not like to see be stabbed.

Strong, appear authentic, opens most cans well though slowly. You would want a fast opener for everyday use, but these would be excellent almost-no-weight tools to keep as backup, in your kitchen, car or on a camping trip, kept on a cord so you can find them. The opener bent slightly when i unsuccessfully tried to open a tomato paste can, pressing as hard as I could with my thumb, but a regular-size can it handled easily, and the very slight bend doesn't impair its usability.

These can openers are just great no matter where you are at.... camping, fishing, around home, etc... i carry one on my keychain and use it when on my motorcycle and open a can of beans, or other canned goods..... great item, great quality... just like the one i used in viet nam.
