Ordered this ice scream scoop to use for cookie, roll and muffin dipping/making. So, I cannot testify to the benefits to what it was designed for. What a handsome tool it is too. Why pay $[...] or so for a piece of crap plastic made in China from Wal-Mart when you can have the Ferrari of scoops from Italy for under ten bucks? This scoop is very well made and sleek and should last me for years to come. Great practical and affordable kitchen tool.
