I purchased this item for my husband. He has lost the use of his right hand and finds it really difficult to open things, one of them are soda cans. So he asked me find something to help him and described to me what he had seen in the past. I looked in every store I went into but couldn't find what he needed so checked out Amazon and found what I was looking for! It works great, with one swift move it opens his soda cans with ease. The only suggestion I have is not to put too much pressure on the lifting part, if you just lift and push down with slight pressure it works great. Overall he and I love it! I highly recommend it!

I have to open at least 5 cans a day, for my Husband's liquid food (he can't eat or drink by mouth, due to cancer).
Each day, it gets more difficult to open the cans..the tab is so closed. I even tried a 'church key', but still had to fiddle with the tab.
So, on a lark, I looked for something to make it easier..this does the trick...it's actually fun to use. I even opened one in front of my husband to show him my new trick.
I would highly recommend it.
The only thing that would make it better, was if it had a small magnet so it could be stuck on a fridge.
But I'm happy.

My daughter has problems with some motor skills and arm strength and could not open soda cans. She loves this thing. She figured out how to use it right away. Now, if she would just stop losing it...
