Squatness requires more strength,

I lost my ring pull and decided to try several since there was the special 4-3 offer on several of ring pulls.
This one is the one that I will give away.
For those with hand/wrist problems - this one requires more strength due to its squat/short size, harder to manuever and the knob is smooth without any grip material to help out. Not a painless can opener.
Instead:
Jokari Ring Pull Can Opener, 3 units
This one comes in a 3 pack which makes the price really great too.
Ring Pull - Can Opener
Both above were longer and good grip - both made can opening easy and painless.

This ring pull opener differs from some of the others I've tried-- primarily the "squat-ness" of the handle, which seems to provide some heft/sturdiness. You won't have the fear of breaking the handle if you encounter a difficult ring on a can. Just insert (or force) the hook/edge to the ring, ensure you have a firm grip of the can and pull/lean. I'd buy this again.

This is the most brilliant gadget I've seen lately. It works great for people with hand or wrist pain (arthritis, carpal tunnel, etc.) and people with looong nails or those with no nails at all. Nope, not for pop cans, for that use the brilliant Open Smart Soda Can Opener, but all others (soup, etc.)are a breeze to open. The ball shape on top is very comfortable as opposed to the thin handled openers (I have both). I recommend this product highly!
