Summary: Hands Free Can Opener 2010-01-18
Comment: What pleasure to have a Hands Free Can Opener for several reasons:
1. While busy in the kitchen opening multiple cans for a recipe the Hands Free makes life easier to mutli-task
2. It's a great gift for those with arthritis and the elderly. Makes the torture of manually opening cans history.
The only drawback is that it's battery operated (recycling old batteries, etc). Now if a solar model was introduced...
Nevertheless, we love it and we send these as gifts to all our friends.

Summary: Poor Opener 2010-01-14
Comment: I bought this can opener about 3 months ago because I liked that it was small and opened a can without leaving a sharp edge. It worked great on a couple cans but most of the time it got stuck on the can and I had to fight to remove it.
I got so tired of it getting stuck that I purchased the Hamilton Beach 76606 Pop-Top Electric Can Opener. This can opener is MUCH better and I tossed the One Touch in the garbage because it wasn't worth the effort returning it and I wouldn't dream of giving this piece of junk to someone else.
Bottom Line: Do NOT buy this. If you buy it, you WILL be disappointed!

Summary: Finally a can opener that is effortless and actually works 2010-01-10
Comment: The One Touch Can Opener really works and is effortless. Due to spinal nerve damage I have great difficulty operating a lot of kitchen gadgets. Not this one - it is a blessing. My step-daughter is not a gadget person; but after using my One Touch Can Opener she even applauded it. Yes - I ordered her one! I've used mine for about a year and a half with absolutely no problems.
