I bought this to replace a cheap peeler that disgusted my sister on her last visit. This is a solid utensil, very sharp and easy to use, and the handle is a good size for easy control.

Very solidly built, and very sharp. Maybe a little too sharp, as I always peel more than the skin everytime I peel off my carrots and potatoes!

I bought this to replace my old one that's made entirely of plastic. The tab that holds the blade broke, into the garbage it went, although the peeler part was still sharp. I don't think I'll break or bend this one.

I've had this stainless steel peeler for about 8 years, and it is still going strong. It doesn't peel off too much of the vegetable skin either. I highly recommend it.
