Had used the old school type manual opener forever - hated the metal shavings, gunk that built up on the opener, sharp edges on the lid. So when I saw the Kuhn Rikon lidlifter, I gave it a try. So happy with this purchase I've bought three. Very brief learning curve, after a few cans you'll have the knack and never go back. No shavings, no gunk, no sharp edges, no wasted electric. Love the purple color, easy to find in the drawer. Highly recommend this product!
