The Swiss are famous for packing multiple tools into a single package. The Kuhn Rikon Auto Safety Master Opener has all the features of the Kuhn Rikon Auto Safety LidLifter can openers. It is now possible to open a can and never, ever touch the lid. All you do is place the opener on the can and begin turning the comfortable knob. The tool automatically locks in place. The tool cuts from the side leaving a rim smooth, not sharp or jagged. The tiny, strong jaws on the side of the opener remove the lid. Press down on the white button to close the jaws on the lid and when you are ready to drop the lid into the recycling container, just release the button. Safe, ergonomic and just plain cool. Plus, it makes quick work of opening bottles and cans with pull and pop tabs, threaded caps and flip tops. 8-3/4-inch, Blue

Love this opener! I have never been a fan of the electric can openers and most hand can openers get disgustingly dirty. This opener (its so much more than just a "can opener") never gets dirty when opening cans, I love the fact that the lid does not fall inside the can Im opening and there are no sharp edges on the lid. Its also easy to use, although it took me about 2-3 cans to really get the feel of it since it does operate differently than old style can openers. Opens bottles, removes twist off caps and has a hook to lift tabs off of cans (such as soda cans). Buy this - you wont be disappointed.

I have yet to come across a Kuhn Rikon product that I haven't liked. I have one of their other can openers in our kitchen, which I love. I bought this specific tool for our trailer. Both of our children can open a can with these and pull the lids off safely.

This cuts it so it doesn't cut my fingers. Good for my kitchen area when stuff gets opened from can often. Tomato and french beans. It's great for everything else. I like it more because it's convenient like other can opener that cuts sharp edges this one cuts without sharp edges but also comes with beer can opener. Nice.
