KitchenAid Can Opener - Black

I used this can opener one time and it never worked again. I wouldn't recommend it. KitchenAid might make other things well (mixers), but can openers are definitely not their cup of tea. If I could, I would rate 0 stars.

This can opener sucks. I normally count on KitchenAid to have quality products, but this can opener is a piece of crap. I have owned it for about a year, and it that time it MAY have successfully opened 6 cans. Most of the time it comes off the tracks and just ceases to cut the can open.

I literally am taking a break from opening my cans of tuna to say that this is a complete piece of trash. The handle has some play in it (loose, doesn't align properly) and I can't open the cans! The opening mechanism doesn't latch on securely. What ends up happening is that it creates a saw-tooth like opening on the lid which I have to resort to prying open with a fork. In addition, when I pry it open, there's a chance that little bits of metal might fall into my tuna.

This is has to be the worst can opener I've ever used.
