This jar opener is installed under a counter or cabinet and has proven to be totally useless. All it does is scrape the jar lids but doesn't get enough of a grip to open them.

This is pretty much useless... Good thing it's screwed to the bottom of the cabinet so I can forget it's even there.

I had a similar model before, but broke it, and absolutely had to replace it. It is the easiest to use jar opener you will ever find. It allows you to use both hands to hold the jar and apply the force to turning it, rather than using some of your power to grip. It would be especially good for someone with less strength, like the elderly.
