I recieved my first JarPop as a gift from friends for my birthday several years ago, and have given several for gifts since that time.

JarPop is safe. It's simple. Using JarPop requires very little effort; far less than using other jar-opening tools, handheld or electric can-openers. It requires less energy than opening an interior door handle. JarPop can be used with either right or left hand. It is small enough to fit easily in the most shallow kitchen drawers.

JarPop isn't messy like a can opener, and requires absolutely no maintenance nor cleaning. It comes in bright, attractive colors. It's made of high-strength plastics, and is lightweight; if you drop it, it will not hurt you, and it will not break.

Justin's wife says: This thing really works. My mom gave me one a few years ago and I just bought one for my mother-in-law. It is used on any glass jar with a metal lid (not mason jars). Salsa, baby food, jelly, anything. I would highly recommend for any kitchen, but especially for older people who may not have as much hand strength. It basically breaks the seal, so you can then unscrew the lid easily.

This tool does the job very well. My husband and I are elderly and have difficulty releasing the seal on jars. We used to have a butterfly opener which popped the seal when placed under the lid and turned. Searches of the internet could not locate there openers except as promotional gifts. We needed one, not a gross. We found the Jarpop and decided to try it. It works just fine.
