Good Cook Touch Can Opener

Bought this at a local retailer. First time use found that it would grip the can for literally two rotations of the knob and then lose its grip on the can and the cutter would spin freely while the hand grips were still closed. Tried re-gripping in a new spot four or five times and it continued with the exact same result. Even tried turning the knob in the opposite direction with no improvement. Took the unit back to the retailer for replacement, they let me select the replacement myself, brought it home and it did exactly the same thing.

SHAME ON GOOD COOK FOR PUTTING SUCH POORLY BUILT PRODUCT ON THE SHELF!!

I too bought this at my local store. I then experienced the frustration of not being able to fully open any of the many cans I needed to open for a recipe. As I couldn't find the receipt and also for pure revenge, this can opener then took a short trip to the nearest trash can. Save your money for one that actually works please.

Don't waste your money on this product. I purchased this at a local retailer thinking it was the best one they had (below $20) but come to find out I have had nothing but trouble. From the two parts trying to separate to the cogs binding up and now the cutter blade will not rotate at all. And yes, I clean the tool after every use and let it dry properly. I should have returned it within the 30 days because it had problems with the first can.

I purchased this product at a local store, not from Amazon, just passing on advise.
