I am enormously disappointed in this can opener. I searched for a "Made in USA" handheld, manual can opener and thought I found it in the Fox Run brand. What I received was a SwingAway, made in China. This is not the quality or durability of USA made. The steel is soft (for steel) and the gear-meshing tolerances are loose. It doesn't bite into the lid accurately or rotate smoothly. Where can I find a decent can opener?

Even the white plastic covers on the handles are soft, ill-fitting and cheap feeling.

Worse of all, the fitting of all of the pieces together is loose and sloppy. I'm puzzled by what type of material was used to make the small round turning gears. They have three...Read more
