Farberware Pro Can Opener, Black

Not to add insult to injury, with all of the other negative reviews, but this junk. In order to open a can, you must apply an excessive amount of pressure because the handles flex. The build quality appears to be good, but upon closer inspection it's really junk. One of the handles fell off shortly after buying it, and within a few months it ended upon in the landfill.

I bought this can opener because it looked like it was good quality and the handle broke off the first time we used it. Absolute junk. If I had examined it more closely I would have realized it. The limited warranty is pretty much worthless also because you have to package up the pieces and mail it back at your own expense to New Jersey. Made in China.

I went to Wal-mart and got a new can opener(because the last one I bought only lasted 6 months) so I bought the most expensive one thinking it would be better....boy was I wrong!!!! The first and second time it work wonderful and then after that the handle started falling off as you turn it and now it won't even open anything.......about a dollar per open(cuz that's about how many cans it's ever opened...good thing I didn't throw away all the old ones I have that I thought where junk because this one is the worst ever and most expensive too..........
