This can opener was more expensive than I like to spend, but I found I was spending money on $4 can openers way too often and my 9-year-old couldn't use them. This one grabs great and is easy to hold while turning. The only downside is the lid isn't cut on the side and so it falls into the can, but other than that, my 9-year-old can use it with ease. I would recommend this product.

This is by far the best can opener I've ever owned. It seems to fit better in my utensil drawer and it operates more smoothly than the Kitchenaid can opener I had bought prior to this one. Highly recommended!

I absolutely love this can opener! I was looking for a can opener that was easy to use and wouldn't be too hard on my hands, I have arthritis. I was having a lot of difficulty opening cans and was even avoiding cooking anything that required me to open a can; now I can open any can with ease and I can cook whatever I want. The handle is ergonomic and even after I open several cans it doesn't hurt my hands, it was a bonus that it is red which matches my kitchen.
