Comment: Installation was pretty straight forward. No big problems like I had with the toaster oven. Works well but the reasons for only 3 stars is: 1. hard to clean and 2. the cover does not want to stay closed. It will pop open with the lightest of touches. Make sure you install back out of the way (ours is toward the front of the cabinet) and you should be OK.

Comment: I ordered this used in very good condition to save a few bucks. When I got it I discovered the plastic piece that holds the cover closed was snapped off. So I super glued it on but the part it fits into was snapped too. So I had to glue that. It holds the cover closed but it makes me so mad that someone at Amazon would pawn this off on me. It should not have been sold even at half price. At least warn me. I'm not there to check it out for myself. I'm counting on Amazon to make sure i'm not getting cheated and ripped off.
Installation was hard because B&D makes the instructions so confusing. That tamplate is useless. You have a good mechanical abilitys and common sense to mount this right the first time.
It is a good thing it's under the cabinet because this thing's HUGE. Way bigger than it really needs to be. And the picture on the front of the box makes it look like it fits flush with the cabinet with the cover closed. That is so deceiving. It works ok and it's up now but you have to ask yourself, "do I really want to drill holes in your nice expencive Kitchen Cabinets?" I think not.

Comment: I was disappolinted in this product. the knife sharpener is not electric like the one I had. . it is just a place you rub your knife on, does a rotten job.
the closer that you have to push to open the can opener sticks all the time. It is very cheaply made compared to my old one made in this country, Boy what a difference.
This can opener
is very nice to look at but just a big peice of plastic.
shame on you Black and decker.
I have used Black and decker Products all my life , I am 85 and really disappointed in your quality now!

Comment: Like others, I found the installation a bit tedious, but once mastered, very satisfied witht the B&D Opener.

Comment: This product worked perfectly. I have a small kitchen and it fits well under the cabinet. I really like that it has multiple uses and I enjoy the dark color. I am very satisfied with this product.
